Services for Stanley Gene Williams , 54, of Edgewood, TX, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday March 13, 2010 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Father Rich Towers officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, TX.

He passed away March 9, 2010 in Edgewood, TX.

Mr. Williams was born November 3, 1955 in Athens, TX, to D. G."Hoss" Williams and Bobbie Jean Webb Williams.

He was a member of St Justins Episcopal Church. He grew up in Canton, Texas where he graduated from high school in 1974. He was a loyal Texas Aggie. He earned a bachelor's degree from Texas A & M University in 1978. During his 31 year career, he taught and coached at Keerville, Canton, Mabank, Palestine Westwood and Edgewood where his golf teams won two consecutive state championships in 2006 and 2007. He reitred in January.
Stanley was preceded in death by Mother, Bobbie Jean Martin, Grandparents, Jim & Mary Williams, Grandparents, Gene & Ivo Webb, Uncle, Larry Webb.

Surviving are Wife of 31 years, Nancy Williams of Edgewood, TX,
Son, Toby Williams of College Station, TX, Daughter, Kelsey Williams of Lewisville, TX, Father, D. G."Hoss" Williams of Canton, TX, Brothers & their families, Mike Williams of Lake Tyler, TX, & Thomas Lance Williams of Mabank, TX, Aunt, Margie Webb and her family of Murchison, TX, Nieces & Nephews.

Pallbearers are lifelong friends: Jimmy Frederick, Kerry Starnes, Kim Townsend, Dale Clemments, Doug Williams, Mike Creel, Rusty Wilson, Kerry Bourne & Randy Bennett.

Family will receive friends Friday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
