Obituary:

A celebration of her life, Rosa Mallory Bailey , 77, of Canton, TX, are scheduled for 10:30 AM Friday February 5, 2010 at Church of Christ on 243 with Bro. Larry Page & Bro. Mike Newby officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Entombment will be in Cedar Memorial Gardens, Mineola, TX.

She passed away February 2, 2010 in Tyler, TX.

Rosa Bailey was born March 24, 1932 in Grand Saline, TX, to Alvin O and Linnie Abrams Mallory.

She was a member of Church of Christ on 243, . Rosa grew up and attended school in Grand Saline, where she met and later married Morris W. Bailey in 1950. She and Morris were married for 54 years before his death in January 2005They moved to Canton in 1961, where they owned and operated Canton Reliance Gas Co. She was an active member of the Church of Christ. She was very involved in her church and her three girls' activities. Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She lovingly served those she cared about and adored. She was known to her 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and those who loved her as "Bobee". Her favorite pasttime were watching her grandchildren play sports and spending time relaxing on her back porch listening to the birds.
Rosa was preceded in death by Father, Alvin O. Mallory, Mother, Linnie Abrams.

Daughter & Son-in-law, Linda & Don Worley of Canton, TX,
Daughter & Son-in-law, Paula & Lynn Bruno of Canton, TX,
8 Grandchildren: Kristin Hatfield Woods, Rachel Hatfield, Eric Hatfield, Cari Wilson Williams, Emily McElroy, Christopher Worley, Ashley Eiland Robinson & Bailey Eiland, 11 Great-grandchildren,
Sister & Brother-in-law, Yvonne & Bob Betts of Tyler, TX
Brother & Sister-in-law, Stan & Ernestine Mallory of Tyler, TX

Family will receive friends at the church after the service.

Contributions may be made to Hospice Homeplace, 4111 University Blvd. Tyler, Tx. 75701

Visitation immediately following the service.
