Obituaries

Services for Fern Tucker, 93, of Van, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday July 29, 2012 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Rev. Don Childress and Mal Fowler officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.

She passed away July 27, 2012 in Van, TX.

Mrs. Tucker was born May 29, 1919 in the Jamestown Community, TX, to Chester and Effie Boyett Bryant.

Fern was a member of Providence Baptist Church. She lived in the Van area most of her life and was a waitress for many years. Fern was very loving and caring person. She enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cooking for her family. She loved life and was full of energy.

Surviving are Son, Bobby & Martha Holland of Dallas, Step Daughter, Alecia Woods of Houston, Son-in-law, Mal Fowler of Canton, and Numerous Grandchildren, Great & Great-Grandchildren.

Fern was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank Tucker, Jr. and daughter, Shirley Ann Fowler.

Family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
