Services for James Edward "Edd" Pearce, 83, of Canton, Texas, are scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday July 24, 2012 at Eubank Funeral Chapel with Rev. Craig Locke officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton.

Burial will be in Haven of Memories, Canton, Texas.

He passed away July 21, 2012 in Tyler, TX.

Mr. Pearce was born July 13, 1929 in Edgewood, TX, to James Alton and Gladsie Ruth Kirby Pearce.

He was a member of Willow Springs Baptist Church. Edd was married for 53 years to Jackie Pearce. He retired from Ford Motor Company after over 18 years, then worked for Rash & Ritchie Feed Store in Van for 25 years. Edd enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, farming, horseback riding and going on trail rides. He liked going to rodeos, watching wrestling and spoiling his grand and great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Jackie Pearce, Brother, R.A. Pearce, and Sister, Audrey Hindman.

Pallbearers are Don Coursey, Jim Pearce, Josh Pearce, Jeff Johnson, Jacob Dyers, Earl Reid.

Family will receive friends Monday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
